The Petroleum Oriented Safety Training (POST) is a safety orientation program which many oil companies require as the minimum acceptable safety training to access their sites.
All training of storage tank installers, removers, testers and maintenance is provided by the Canadian Petroleum Contractors Association (cpcaonline.com).
Alberta has adopted training and certification standards of the Canadian Petroleum Contractors Association. Examinations are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
The Alberta Petroleum Storage Systems Contractor’s Association is a non-profit association of companies incorporated to establish, promote and maintain the highest standard of quality, safety and environmental protection for all types of installation and modifications of petroleum storage systems in Alberta.
Our member companies provide a broad range of services pertaining to the fuel storage industry, from tank removals and installations to meter calibration.
